François Reizell was a german cabinetmaker who lived and worked in Paris. Recieved Master on the 26th february 1764. He delivered many pieces of furniture to the prince de Condé, for the château de Chantilly and more palaces.
This commode is presented in the company of a secretary desk signed by François Reizell. Both pieces of furniture show many similarities in style as well as decor.
