Handwritten paper from the eighteenth century : " Chambre à coucher de Mr le Cte de Charost ".

Provenance : Armand-Louis-François-Edme de Béthune, earl of Chârost (1770-1794), son of duke of  Chârost. He was executed during the french revolution in 1794. Earl of Chârost, Armand-Joseph de Béthune (1er juillet 1738-27 octobre 1800) was buried in the château de Meillant that he owned since 1755. These armchairs where probably in his bedroom in that castle.
