Framed with Bérain-style baguettes, this mirror is decorated with carved escutcheons featuring shells surrounded by foliage, acanthus leaves and scrolls.
The side reserves are in wavy mirror.
The pediment features a mirror also framed with Bérain-style baguettes and parcloses.
The gilded wood decor features an eagle with outstretched wings on either side of the corners, surmounted in the center by a large palmette on a Queen décor background and surrounded by scrolled foliage.
Régence period work with mercury mirror and original gilding.
